How you play deep in tournament like 20 players left when your stack is down to like 5bbs what kind of combos would you jam . I mostly knock my self out of tournaments at these stages with all sort of trash trying to steal blinds from co or mp3 . Or any other suggestions.

Try and not let your stack dwindle to 5bb (meaning basically get it in earlier to not be so short or bust trying), with 5bb you will need to get really lucky and you basically need to get it in at some point in that rotation with ATC if need be especially with ante's etc.

Man, when you get to this stage, there is not such strategy to save you. It's lucky, but if comes some par or aces and any card is a good choice.

You should google "Push Fold Charts" I think you will find some charts that pretty clearly define the hands to push or fold. Hope that helps

Yep, push fold charts are a great place to start when it comes to this sort of information.

One thing I want to mention is that with only a 5BB or less you cannot expect to steal the blinds in the usual sense. You are going to be called by the BB with a wide range of hands as they know you are pushing with a wide range and will frequently be getting good enough odds to call. Stealing the blinds will be much easier if you begin while you still have a formidable stack.

You have to get it in with almost any 2 cards here with 5bbs and just hope to get lucky as it is unlikely anyone is folding to your jam. You should certainly work on your strategy so that you don't end up in these 5bb situations.

5bb all in connectors, maybe ace high weak kickers, bb, sb, buttons.

download ICM trainer.. play shortstack, shorthanded games, jackpot tables.. but do it to help train your shortstack play and learning to attack preflop, so that you don't fear getting it all in on hands.

Well AA KK QQ JJ 10 10 are hands when i would go all in and AQ AK AJ depends on position. if im in late position and no one calls i would also shove to steal the blinds

The hands like a mid pair or high pair you must jam and the hand like AK or AQ in a good position even A10 and AJ and KQ

With 5bbs you can't be too picky, any pocket pair, any Ace, any 2 face cards, and even suited connectors. Desperate times call for desperate measures!

Is there a good trade off between getting good odds for your cards and odds for survival

i.e.

1) If you get too low, when you shove you could get 2 or more callers
= good odds/chances to survive are low

2) If you have more blinds you have fold equity and will get less callers so when you shove you can either pick up the blinds with no risk or if called, you dont get the beter odds as as 1) but you do have a better chance of survival, usually 40/60 at worst unless you get unlucky and run into a monster or a dominated cards then 30/70
