What to do small stakes Mtt

There's a guy at the table that's been shoving preflop with pocket 3's - hitting sets; calling all in's with A10s against KK and AA and hitting his flush. The guys getting his money in so bad and then pulling out the win.

I'm in BB with AJo, he raises the CO to 3x BB and I call. flop comes A44 rainbow, I bet and he comes over the top - huge reraise to put me all in.

What should I do here, call or lay down and hope for a better spot.

BTW this is a micro stakes 27 player sng on stars

if you raised preflop you could pretty much eliminate any hand with a 4 in it. so the only hands that have us beat here are AK,AQ,AA. So if your sure on your read that hes playing like a maniac then he should have a pocket pair or a lower ace and its a simple call.

Why cant a maniac raise pre trying to steal with a 4 in his range? U cannot take that completely out just cause hes a maniac. 44 needs to be added

From what you have explained sounds like you should call. How did this turn out?

Thats probably worth a call, if hes a maniac his range easily includes a10-a2 suited, so maybe he flopped a boat? but i doubt hes shoving it here...any other pocket pair and I dont think aa/44 is raising all in with his full house/quad 4's...just my take on it though

Yeah I agree it should be an easy call if you see him shoving with anything like low pocket pair on other hands. You probably had the best hand anyway and people will do that especially in low stakes because some people really dont care.

Should have re-raised preflop imo.
