What cards would you play?

When playing a tournament, sometimes I only draw dead cards and am unable to steal blinds or c-bet too as others manage to make a hand and 2-bet or 4-bet me and I lose.

I reach tournament halfway with stack in the bottom 10-20% with 15-25bb and start playing cards like Q9s, small pocket pairs, 67s K10o aggresively with 2.5-3.5x blind bets preflop(acc to position) and c-betting flops with 30-60% of pot. And again lose and come even lower to 5 to 15bb and wait for shoves or try sandwiching someone and end up eliminating.

My question is, if I am drawing only dead and not winning huge pots, what hands should I play? Should I keep playing tight hoping to get a good hand? Or should I understand the table and go for more bluffs with medium hands and position play? or any other strategy?
Thanks :)

stay tight, you may go like broomcorn's uncle (blinded out) but if you get a premium hand you will have kept enough chips left to make a run if you double up with it.

Literally I fold a lot even high suited connectors or sometimes even like Queens if there are other players betting the BB. Of course, normally folding Queens sounds strange and sometimes its pretty hard but necessary!

Stealing blinds is matter of position too. If you try stealing in early position it could be that another player holds better cards than yours are, he will reraise/all-in and you have paid unnecessarily too much.

Finally, folding is necessary and mind your position.

you have to set a range of standard hands, watch the bad guys if they are aggressive, passive, use the technique of the PSP, position, stack, profile to make their decisions, pre-flop raise use 2x 2.5x, does not change its size bet according to your cards so you become predictable.

Sometimes it doesnt matter which hands you play, it can all be about being agressive and taking advantage of your very tight opponents.
Consider that also ;)

In my view keep playing tight and wait for your hand, you can bluff in between to steel blind If you feel like.
