We have a new poker license

I own a club in Kent, England. I can hold up to 4 games a week at a maximum prizepool per game of £250. Any suggestions on live games based on this prize pool to attract new players to the club outside the normal Texas hold 'em freeze out?

I'm surprised you've had no replies. You don't say whether your license restricts the amount of buy in. Things you could try:
Free top up for all players after the first hour, including anyone whose been knocked out
Extra starting chips to those who sign up early to a game.
Loyalty card, play ten games get one free
Extended happy hour at the bar for players
If players agree keep some of the money back each week for a once a quarter trip to a casino for the best players, if there is one not too far away.
A Christmas hamper for the best overall player during November and December

Suggest you check the above are all legal.

Maybe variations on stud? Older generations might be interested in that, depending on what kind of club it is. I know I had a Samantha Foxx Amstrad poker game from the late 80's which was 7 Card Stud

On a more serious note, how about introducing a Bounty Game, where perhaps newly registered players aren't a bounty for the first few tournaments, which allows them to get settled in without the risk of being shoved all in each time they bet. This doesn't cost you any extra and bounties allow everyone a chance of winning something.

I guess this would need to be added to a variety of other promotional aspects to entice players along in the Mober term, maybe a league or leaderboard system that could be easily managed along the lines of many leaderboard systems out there!
