In such a tournaments where the number of players is enormously huge you should play aggressive as much is possible with one important note, no bluff.

it sattelite freeroll which played 50 passes for the main satellite freeroll this event! in the second round played out a ticket to the main event with a buy-in and $ 5,200 Guaranteed prize pool of $ 8,000,000 .. there for that fight! but how to pass the satellite with 2,000 players where only played 50 vouchers for the next game? how to hold out at the beginning of the tournament and how to increase the stack in the middle to get to the prize?

You also have to ask yourself what are your chances to win the ticket. If you feel like you have a very little chance to get the ticket you may not want to waste a lot of time playing these.

Thank you! I will try to go to the tournament prize money! aggression is a 4bet or all-inn?

I asked myself! lol! I want to win a ticket, but I do not know how to play with the number of players in the freeroll tournament!

Hardest part is the last 200.
With 100k stacks, but 20k blinds and 2k antes.
but 10 minutes later 50k blinds with 5k antes.
It is like a Hyper Turbo.
(and that is after wasting 2 hours to get to that point).

I can't believe I made it through 9900 players... it actually played quite tight.

But I made it with less than 4 ANTES... :D

WTG rage, great play, very well done!!

thats how you do it Edik;)
aggression is very important, but so is patience, and much luck
large fields are a huge challenge, even if you are chip leader for an hour...
that game was 2hr20min (our 12man league games take longer lol)
you have to be able to read the weak and the aggressive ones, and play accordingly using position to your advantage
most say tighter in the beginning and loosen as blinds get high,
but seeing cheap flops when you can be a bonus payout
and yes 3-4 betting and shoves help a lot (isolate players)
still much luck needed as you have to win many flips

I admit I tried a bunch of times in this but no luck. The round 2 will be just as hard to get a ticket to a real wcoop so chances are really really really slim of winning both but I have no other way to afford wcoop main event or anything so gotta try.

I agree with ricksterrick it will be tough as hell to to either win one of 50 places but it is doable, roud 2 will be even harder but it will be much better place to play, less donk moves less shoves, even if i not win place for ME which i probably wont, i would happy to play deeper in round 2, i think ill experience some good poker

Here I have tried many strategies! while there is no result ... but I will try to get past the first round since really want to participate in the main event!

Large fields in these are tough. More players play recklessly at first. If these first step tourneys are offered frequently I would say you should be willing to take bigger risks early on. Not with total abandon to good poker discipline but not as tight as you might in the WCOOP main event itself.

For instance, pocket Q's vs two all in's ahead of you for your tourney life; I probably wouldn't call in the ME but I'm certainly going to call in a satellite that I can re-enter tomorrow night should I lose. I just don't have as much success playing the early stages of this type tourney using the TAG approach.

many players and only 50 tickets! already tried several strategies, but to no avail! there is still time and I will try to win this sattelite!

chip on the table without bluffing to build a good stack works well after 3000 have only been able to pls you have a good idea of the players there and so take advantage of mistakes and ultimately avoid facing players that will eliminate but you already got so much then continues cool

yet another joke freeroll from stars,
you have more chances winning the wcoop event than winning two satellites in a row.
if you're not running good you wont make it no matter how aggressive you play.

Supertight play especially at beginning (very similar to online pokerschool), no bluffing especially at beginning :D, aggressive play with strong hands especially at beginning :D, take your time especcially at the END :D and the most important one big full fatass of luck especially at beginning but through whole tournament :D

I just earned my WCOOP freeroll seat.

20,000 entrants, only 50 seats available.

I played super aggressive early and donked out several others with premium hands

Now comes the hard part...
