I've noticed professionals migrating to low-stake $5-$10 SNGs after two sites have discontinued heads-up bum-hunting (I determined this using sharkscope.com, they are marked as "Pros" with ratings 95+). The site I contacted said there's nothing they can do ..it's up to players to tag or color-code these professionals, but it's tedious to look up everyone unless I pay for the Sharkscope HUD.

However some of the Pros have now blocked public access to their Sharkscope statistics! (after I "called them out" during games). This confirms their nefarious intentions. I doubt the HUD would show blocked profiles.

Even if they opt-out of sharkscope you can still look at their skill level (50-100). Beware if it's around 90. Those guys have been at some big tables.

Nothing changed on pokerstars. On full tilt though there were some big changes. They no longer offer heads up cash games , plus they changed their cash games completely. You can now NOT choose a table to sit in , instead you only get to choose the stakes you wish to play and you get a seat at a random table. So there is now just a pool of players and no table selection....

"their nefarious intentions" LOL what? You mean like learning how to play & showing how that effort can pay off?
LOL at 'calling them out' on the tables. "HEY YOU! You have great stats.! I'm going to tell on you for being a good player!!!"

Yah... sounds like something we should all be aware of

I would love to play some pros at that level, the things I would learn would greatly compensate for the money I am losing, because, I'm not going to lose ALL the time. Is it also happening on any US sites?

Don't let them know that you know. Just keep it to yourself and use that info to your advantage.

Not sure why the sites would care what level anyone is playing. Are we under the assumption that pro's are only allowed to play nose bleeds? I'm confused.

Great point IPlay ..I will keep things to myself in the future.

At least FullTilt has recognized a similar issue, and acted on it, so I'm not alone in my opinion.

I have no idea what the purpose of this post even is!?

And nefarious intentions?!

Warning!?

Your kidding right?

These "pros" as you say play poker for a living and obviously they are going to play the softest games available that gives them the highest ROI, they are as entitled as everyone else to play in any game they wish.

Because somebody has put 1000's of hrs into developing their game, their skill set, there understanding, built a bankroll and all the other things that go into making it pro why should this exclude them from games?

They should not have to declare this, you know full well when you start playing poker that their are people out there better than you, there always will be, and you will always come across them.

That is all the warning you need.

You need to adapt and develop your own game, as they did, to allow for this. Just because somebody is more committed or experienced than you does not mean this should be declared or excluded.

I bet it's the Daniel Negreanu JJ promotion actually, same happened last time they ran the AA, KK etc free rolls at 5NL.

I think that is why they run this promotions, so that the pros come down to micros with "nefarious intentions"

😝😝😂😂

I guess some of the people are trolling , but anyway. For those who really don't know whats going on I am going to share some info so that they get the idea of whats happening from time to time with pros that play online. Grzegorz Mikielewicz (DaWarsaw) streams from time to time and talks strategy, so he plays micro stakes to explain things while playing or just to join the same games that friends of his stream play. Felix Schneiders (xflixx) is also a team pro online and streamer so while streaming he does some ladder challenges starting from micro stakes and moving up in sngs spin'n'gos and some other stuff. Tyler Frost (frosty012) is team pro online as well and does some challenges too. He has an active one at the moment and tries to move up from 2nl to 1000nl winning 4 buy ins at each limit or something like that (you can do your own research and find his blog and read more if you want to know more. I am not posting any links I am not their PR). So end of story. Get over it! They are not busto and they are not after your 3 or 15 dollars._

I hope they don't start playing the freerolls and the microstakes otherwise I'm screwed !

But seriously, Why worry ? I'd never sit at a table with a pro and buy in for $1000 Dollars... I'd be terrified and totally Fazed... But playing a 'Pro' for a low stake buy in is a great opportunity and privilege ! Pro or not Pro If you can play half decent poker you still have every chance of doing ok...

It's like David Beckham playing on the opposition team in your local kick about... Would you want to turn down an opportunity like that ? :)
