I downloaded a software to where I can video tape my sessions. It's basically an internal so when I watch basically all I see is the screen. It slows down the game though. Is it worth video taping my sessions at cost of my game lagging? On one hand I can very easily go back and watch and not have to go off memory, but on the other the lag is very annoying. Any thoughts or suggestions would be great

I don't think this is worth doing if it is a distraction, there is enough to focus on without worrying about the lag.

On many sites you can request hand histories from tournaments and load them into a hand re-player (or programs like PokerTracker) if you want to watch again.

I have many tournament hand histories (wow some must be 10 years ago now) that I go back and look at when I want to relive the good old days.

On top of that, if you're unsure on any hands you play, having the history to post for opinions is always helpful!

Agree, no point in recording unless you would like to post it to Youtube or something like that. Get the hand histories, a lot easier to review that way.
