First hand in the 25c 45 man:
Probably c-betting the flop. It is possible that someone has an A but it's really unlikely that they'll flop trips, and there's only one card to a full house. Plus we're getting called by low pairs and 6x type
hands. Think we should c-bet the flop, bet the turn shove the river.
Raising the turn, if someone has an A there that's just unlucky. shoving the river. 4 way pot, we're getting called by 6x, they're also calling with low pairs and our stacktopotratio=1.
the CO showing up with that hand is just silly. That's a snap note take moment there. so is utg turning over his hand.
we can mark both of them as fish btw, and deffo mark utg as spewy when he shoves k5cc from the bb the next hand.
next few hands are all standard folds wp.
AJhh
dont mind just 3-bet shoving here tbh. tEquity wise I think it's a bad decision with our stack size, but that minraise from early position probably means he has a shit hand, ATss or some low pocket pair or weird suited connector that he wants to get to the flop with cheaply, plus the Button has already shown his willingness to stack off light and we know MP1 is limping basically his entire range. I think I'll say I wouldn't mind shoving here if the blinds were higher.
Calling is bad because we're playing it out of position in a multiway pot. Even if we hit top pair we can be outkicked since MP1 is there or we could be up against a set.
we see the showdown and put a note on UTG+1 that he minraises his trash early position.
next hand:
KJhd
Easy fold. We saw last time that UTG minraises his trash early position, so when he 5x's he's deffo got a good hand. Then he gets 4-bet, min 4-bet but still. Quick fold and be happy about it.
QJsh we shouldn't be shoving here imo. Put a note down on this guy that he's min raising from mp with premiums as well.
everything after that is standard.
Summary
You seem to be calling too loose preflop early stages. Especially since this isn't a turbo sng. At these blind levels the game is sit and wait until you get something decent, raise preflop, c-bet, collect the pot. I think you lose a big pot there with the TT and then tried to make those chips back, but your stack was still decent, 50bb instead of 75, and you have a lot of time left to improve since it's a non turbo.
You also don't seem to have standardised what you're raising and why. For example you shoved QJo in position when you had 33bb and the pot was 90, but you flat called AJ when you were out of position and you had 50bb and the pot was 200?
Another thing I noticed was that you never took a note. Notes will save you. Notes will remind you at a glance which player is a nit and which player is a fish, and which player is a maniac just spewing chips willy nilly. Notes are not merely necessary, they are the mark of quality. They droppeth from the mind as a tear from heaven. The bless both those that create them and those that are the recipients, because it makes it easier for you to take their money.
Tighten up preflop early and read up on your positional play/ranges. When the blinds hit 50/100 the game changes, and you can get wider, but in the early stages it's tight, tight, tight.
