Good day,

I just had to start a thread on this since I have not seen it anywhere else on the forums... Turbo Blinds (5 min) vs Regular Blinds (10 min +).

I for one cannot stand turbo blinds... even if deep stacked... when you get down close to the final table, etc... the blinds just seem to be too ridiculously high... It seems like the agro players get the best of the goods as they three bet the heck out of somewhat good hands (if they feel 60/40)... and I guess I just do not have the "guts" to gamble even if I have a somewhat premium / coin flip hand... I just cannot stand it... AND ANOTHER THING... LATE REG... I know people have experienced this... player coming in after 55 minutes of play when late reg is closing and BAM.. Where in the **** did all these mules come from (crash on the freeway of 18 wheeler taking donkeys to tour sites?)... I just hate it... so I should clarify... Turbo blinds AND Late Reg for me = Why not just set my money on fire?

Since I have made the switch from Merge to Revolution gaming... I find myself playing A LOT more MTT's vs SNG's.. and have found that more than half of the MTT's are regular blind levels... I love it... I still wish they would only allow... oh lets say 15-20 minutes for late reg instead of the hour or 55 minutes... that gets a bit old... but I can understand for the gaming network to get as little overlay as possible as to ensure they are not losing their edge. I have no clue why I disliked Cake poker a few days ago... oh yeah... USA still had pokerstars and Full Tilt! That's why!

I now play regularly on intertops Poker... it is sad to hear that they have closed their doors to US players as of not too long ago... I got an account just in the nick of time... and I love it! I was credited one free bank wire ($50 worth) for a withdraw & was in my bank account in two days... and when I have deposited, it has been a breeze... I get 24/7 support online OR via telephone... I never have to wait for an email back from tech support... I just love them! I do believe I played last week in the CC $5.50 $100 added buy-in and I took 4th place... I love the small player field and REGULAR blind structure. I digress...

So what are people's thoughts on this topic... Turbo Blinds vs. Regular Blinds... what is your choice and WHY? Also, what are your thoughts on late registration being open for an hour?

Moe.

Some formats suit certain people. I would love to have the time to play the DS MTTs on stars. The one with a 10K starting stack and 30m blinds. But i have a job and a family. Turbos suit me fine when im not playing cash games.

Why anyone would have a problem when someone buys in an hour late to a turbo MTT is beyond me, its just dead money. Late reg owns.

FYI, you do know that you dont have to play a turbo MTT, if dont like them dont play them :)

I like both. In turbos you have to gamble it up, that's just the way it is. You need to be the one 3-betting and robbing any chips that aren't nailed down.
