You really need to learn your ICM to be succesful at these. A really solid end game strat will show you a very good profit. I've been getting into them lately as they take 20 minutes to finish compared to 45 for a normal turbo.

I play a lot of these, especially on FullTilt. In essence your beginning stages are going to be push-fold. you're already at less than 10BB so even in a normal tournament it would be time to start shoving.

As for range, you need to really expand it to include some junk when you are unopened and in position. If someone shoves in front of you, you should only reshove with premium hands. If you play the 54 man on FT, if you can double up twice you should make it to the final table. If you double up once and you're above 10BB's, often a 2X bet will take it down in position with smaller stacks behind you. I recommend playing multiple tables and waiting for optimal times to shove in the early stages.

I find the super turbos to be pretty stupid, I much prefer the 6 handed hyper turbos on stars, but the supers can be insanely profitable at the low stakes because people are just so braindead.

I can't play them. Best two cards worst two cards, I'm almost always a one and done. I take enough quick beatings in the daily dollar freeroll to avoid these like the plague.

Actually, the regs. in these (STT/SNG sup turbo) usually only have an ROI +1 or 2% but its because of the huge volume they're able to put in that makes them profitable.

I'm assuming though that OP is referring to super turbo MTT's... not STT/SNG.
Don't ship AX hands from early position, in most cases, ship your entire range (no need to get cute & rs 2-3x on 10bb's w AA/KK/QQ, you'll be adding more deception if you just shove and will get looked up by all kinds of junk). Once you've doubled your stack ('if') don't suddenly make marginal calls ie. calling an MP shove in BB w A4o while only getting 1.2to1 (or whatever). Look to pick your spots to shove (or raise if stacks are actually deeper) - - don't attempt to steal from SS's much, instead go after mid-sized stacks (SS's will often be priced in to call the shove/steal... or be desperate to get it in & try to double up while they still have something to double).
Most importantly -----> "run good"
