18 man turbo blinds 150-300
I get TT UTG and raise 775 it folds to the bb and he shoves 3003, I have around 6500 and am chipleader. I have a read on bb and he is a solid player from the few matches we've had however he knows I play aggressively and I've raised the last 3hands in a row with premium/semi-premium holdings. This is an insta-call for me against most players but I didn't like my call after seeing AK, he made top pair but I sucked out on the turn for a set.

Should I have folded?

tough call, especially vs a solid villian
but you had a chunk in and had him covered with lots to spare
glad it worked out
i have folded in that situation, but usually to someone who could take me out

I have as well, the reason I called here though is b/c I felt with 10bb's he could be shoving any pair due to how aggressive I was being. And I would of been around avg. stack if I called and lost to a flip. But avg stack was around 10bb's so that's not really that good lol. I really hated the call as soon as I saw what he had.

even rocks know that they should shove wide with 10 bigs, and anyone half decent will notice that you have raised last three hands , im personaly snapping you off with A10+any pair , maybe UTG ill give you more respect but you still never folding 10s in a turbo at theses blinds

Not by much. I hate racing for half of my stack when I have a comfortable lead and not much invested preflop. After thinking it over if he had 1000-1200 more I prob. would of laid it down.

I don't mind seeing AK here - I'd be happy to see anything but JJ+ when I call. You're CL but first place is still some way away, gotta keep moving forward. TT has 50% vs a range of (77+, AQ+) and you're getting ~35% pot odds. Good call.

If villain had 1,200 more chips I would evaluate my edge and fold if the table was weak enough to allow me to chip up without showdown. I've been on such tables and made such laydowns before - you're accumulating anyway, a bust would leave you crippled, why race?

As an aside, it's also worth considering the effect on your table image if you raise 4 hands in a row then shut down as soon as someone plays back at you.

You got a 22BB stack and are the CL, playing a turbo. Easy Raise/call imo , guess number of players at table can be good info as well, but I expect that you probably weren't at a full table anymore.

Actually it was still pretty full table I think at least 8 left, possibly hadn't lost anyone yet can't remember exactly, and most the table was hovering around 3-4k. It would of been a tight fold that I wouldn't make against the avg player. But having history with this player we had played HU in the 18man right before and down to the final 4 in the one before that and I didn't feel he would shove me there with much less than what he had.

Well if it is me I would rather fold... especially I have a read on him. BUT TT is pretty good hand and he has just got 10BB, so it is not a bad call.
