also reshove on people with wide ranges and steal from late position vs. medium stacks who play too tight.

Shoved AQo vs big stack comeing from a new table.

blinds are 800/1600 he min raises, i shove he snap calls with 99, and i miss so i am out. He called 1/3 of his stack to get me with a coin flip at best..... crazyness.

Be a somewhat bully. Open pots with a wider range, and see if you can throw a bet out there on a flop to steal. Do it a couple times a orbit, you'll win extra chips, and if someone plays back at you, well, you are freerolling with the stolen goodies you have accumulated. GL

If 99 is a coinflip at best vs. your shoving range, you are not shoving often enougn.

Why didnt you rebuy? did you get knocked out after rebuys ended?

I'm no expert but don't rebuy tourneys have markedly different strategies for rebuy section, ie accumulate chips, loosen your range, be more active, be willing to rebuy several times. And then the freezeout section is more like a normal tournament but with a big range of chip stacks and lots of dead money from those who didnt rebuy.

correct me if I'm wrong, But your stack size early shouldnt really change your play as much as it would in a freezeout as you dont have the immediate threat of elimination when short anyway,ie its worth getting it in rather than being risk averse when you think you have enough equity.
