Triple up sit and goes

I know how to approach the late stage, if you got a healthy stack - ohh by late stage I mean the last 5 players left and blinds $200/$100 or higher but what if your short stacked? .. what would you consider short stacked? .. keeping n mind it's a triple up sit and go not straight up winner takes 50% sit and go, so not need to look to keep grow your stack -surviving is good enough, well if you finish 3rd that is .... I consider having less than 6 BB's being short stacked, if that's the case - is it just a case of whether to shove or not to shove? .... rather than play around with marginal hands like KTs and QJs on the button like you would if you had 8 or more BB's, raising then 3x the BB looking to steal the blinds/antes etc - whats the go? .. wait for any pocket pairs or Ax and go all in?
