Is the trick to MTT table play is just tight?
Hey guys, I seem to have SNGS mastered.. for the most part at micros, but more importantly just wondering is MTT at micros just as simple as just staying tight all the way to the bitter end or say until its like 6 left?
Just wondering cause I've had some good cashes but I find myself losening up to early, like I might raise 4bb or something with 8-9 or KQ in lp or even ep sometimes and find people just shove over the top this is when blinds are 300/600 plus when I'd think this is when to start bluffing
I dunno I just ALWAYS seem to get caught out when I may overvalue my hands, its gay cause mean just waiting for the nuts/good hands all game makes it a bit tiresome really especially when you see the fishy fish with stats of like 50/12 be chip leader. and heres you on average stack or whatever I dunno my gameplan is to open up a bit before blinds get too high because I don't like having to rely on coinflips just to make the bubble, but for some reason this goes sour more often than not.
I always stick to the same way of raising too, 3bbs if a fish called before me I might raise it a bit more etc, but more often than not I stick to playing each hand the same and I only play about 18-21% of hands on average anyways..
