Right, so like many of you that I've read cashing in a tournament isn't the problem but getting better than min cashing is. I often find myself making min cash (returning my BI) and then busting a few blinds after the bubble which isn't profitable play.

Can anyone give me any advice on post bubble play. Should I be tightening up if I have 40bb+ or should I be opening a lot wider and stealing wider?

What is a comfortable BB to be sitting at throughout the tournament without needing to play push/fold poker?

If you have a good chip count you should consider playing more aggressive to steal the blinds, post bubble ppl will be playing tighter and will likely fold like a lawn chair, if they re-raise though they prob have something and you ought to play smart, after post bubble you should be 10-20x BB

10-20bb seems pretty short thats border line push or shove poker surely?

I normally come into post bubble with 30bb+ but find myself maybe playing to aggressive and chipping down and running into bigger hands with smaller stacks etc. Calling off 10bb- shoves running into better hands. Surprising how often you'll call a 6bb shove and they find AKs+ JJ+

After the bubble ppl drop like flies, you can go from $900 to $90,000 in 5 plus hands, don't get greedy

Its depend with stack size, but with still 30 BB left you don't need to play so aggresively.Play according to your hand strengh.

I think this is the best advice. Depending on how the payouts increase, normal shove/fold level for me would be 8 -12 big blinds. With 30 BB, you are in pretty good shape to play poker, not coin flip.

Thanks for all the advice yeah I think I play too aggressive post bubble and this is why I find myself chipping down rather quickly. I will try tightening my range and less coin flips! Thanks guys.

With a big stack you can play aggressively. Against players with more stack to play cautiously. The players with the short stack, you can steal the blinds

This is how I normally play and find myself busting early, tightening my range whilst playing aggressively is optimal as lots of little stacks are forced to shove with random hands that have equity

Call me crazy but I try not to let the stage of the tournament dictate my strategy rather what my opponents are doing. If the majority are playing tight, it's not a bad idea to try and steal (depending on position of course). If you're seeing a lot of pre-flop shoves don't be afraid to tighten up a bit. If you think you think someone is running an all-in bluff don't let that be the only premises for a call, in fact it may help you out long term letting someone think they can bluff you, next time you may hold a monster

After the bubble if a stack small I wait for a hands Ahi Khi and any pairs and also I go in all in. If a stack big I play very passively and I wait for a hand top.I Don't risk and play very small percent of hands

Yeah, people are playing tighter so you should be some what aggressive (mostly just steal the blinds once or twice per orbit, while waiting for your spot to really chip up) but respecting raises and shoves especially from shorter stacks who are just waiting for their spot to double up.
