Many times in the games it is possible to win tournament money either from satellites, or from the reward system of the poker room! If you had a small bankroll around 100$ and had another 200$ tournament money, how would you prefer to invest them? Would you play a few expensive mtts or many micro buy-ins which is the safer? I would basically play micros and I would try only a few more expensive! What do you think?

I would play micro buy-ins and mtt, but not expensive (30$ or higher...)

And when you double that amount of money, sure, try few expensive mtts tournaments :)

I would use them as if they were real money and use proper bankroll management. This way you can hopefully turn this extra money into more and then move up stakes. I may actually take a small shot at a higher stake but not go to crazy.

I think that it is better to use this money on microlimits, in accordance with the rules of conducting a bankroll.

One day I read a tip that you should play tournaments equivalent to 10% of your bankroll in my opinion I think your good idea

I definitely would play tournaments with small buy-ins in order to build up my bankroll. Just because of variance I would guess it must be better to play more games in order to win on the long-term perspective.

Greets!

Micro is better because its safer. But if you feel your luck you can always go higher.

Just play it according to your normal brm. It's real money in your account so no need to waste it for no reason.

I use tournament money as real money and apply the bankroll management as I would if it's just real cash

I prefer to play micros and sng, if I play higher buy in tournaments it is because I win the ticket or unless they are tournaments like the micromillions, wcoop there I try to collect or make my bank to play the tournaments that interest me of those series

Just play your regular stakes and use the tourney dollars first. I would treat it like regular money.

I would advise using tournament money with a size of 5.5 entries. You can win a ticket worth $ 215. I managed it. Then she went where tickets are being played at $ 1050. Ticket 5.5 with the help of two tournaments increased to 1050.Now I’m picking a knockout tournament so that even if I don’t even get into the prize money I’ll try to knock out one player and get $ 500 for it. For me it will be a good prize.

Definitely I'd play micro ones.
1) it's safer
2) it can teach you to use your bankroll wisely

I'd play micro, get to play more MTTs. I just grind it out for small profit. At higher stakes, if you hit a bad streak (and sooner or later you will) you're BR is gone.

Personally, I, mainly on tournament dollars, play in tournaments of the type "Double or nothing", or in SnG tournaments (9-max).

I play more freerolls, but when I get to play with my money, I play micro mtt and sng of low buy in, for me it is better to micro so I can get multiple opportunities instead of directly playing a big tournament, if I win in good , but otherwise, it would not be profitable

Having 10% of your BR invested in 1 tournament is waaay to risky, and will let you go broke in the long term. For MTT's I'd suggest 1% buyins, but ofcourse that depends on how aggressive you want to be. Some suggest 0.5%, some suggest 1.5%, it all depends on your financial situation and your willingness to take risks and go bust. But in general 1% is a good guideline I'd say.

It's important that you play on a little buy and because it's a safer way to make money. This is my suggestion, and believe me you will go that much better. I'm telling you from personal experience. So I made the money. With a little luck, you can do it, but only on a small stake. Good luck!

I would split the entire amount into 10 equal parts and play in tournaments to replace the tournament money with real money. The more tournaments you play with this tournament money, the more likely you are to get the same amount of real money.
