I was playing a tournament last week. I was chip leader on the money bubble. I made a larege bluff against a loose player who had top set. I then lost a flip preflop and couldn't fold KK on an ace high board in another hand. In the space of 5 hands I had gone from chip leader to bust out.
Anyone got any experience of big bubbles, crazy blow ups or anything else along those lines. Feel free to share

Yeah, I've done something similar to this , I've even posted about it . I think it's just a case of running out of patience without even knowing it.

PS. It is too damn early for that avatar , you joyful bastard LOL. Good luck out there.

I've never run that bad before. Sounds like you got mad at yourself for the unnecessary large bluff, which was compounded by losing an unnecessary flip, which then caused you to lose your judgement with the KK hand. Yes, you can go on tilt even while winning!

yeah... lots of a time... having a big stake make you feel a king.
and you dont feel danger... but there is a table full of short waiting a good moment to bite you.
there is a kind of TILT called winning tilt - it is when you start playing bad winning lots of hands (you start thinking that you are a boss LOL) - and ussually it ends bad - like your situation.
it happend to me couple of times.

Another good question for me and many others - where is the balance of pressure when you have a big stack at the bubble. I am still looking for this balance...
I often see players with big stacks playing over aggro at bubble or prefinal, and i think i cant play the same... maybe i am too tight,,, idk
