If you're a conservative player, you may need at least 200 buy-ins, or even as much as 500 buy-ins of your working limit. Also, if you mostly play tournaments with a large field, you will also need a deep bankroll, given the extremely high variance such tournaments as compared to the tournaments with small fields.

I was thinking around 100× buy-ins at first but could be say 50× buy-ins and if I need more, I need more... I suppose........ somewhere around the 50× buy-ins is what I might go with.:)

Ideal começar com 100x o valor do buy-in, independente da quantidade de players.

The standard recommendation for tournaments is a minimum of 100 buy-ins from the working limit.

Come with 100 buyins and if you are making a good profit and when it comes to raising the level realize that it is difficult to maintain profit can change your bankroll to 200 buyns.

This will be a personal matter, some players start with a riskier management in the initial limits, such as 50 or 25 buyins, and they increase as the limits go up and games begin to become more difficult.

Read this forum article to have good information on the topic and know where to start: https://www.cardschat.com/poker-bankroll-management.php

You really should have 100 buy in's to start with for proper bankroll management but there are other factors you can have. If the money does not matter and you can add funds with no issues you could start with 50 buy in's. Also the average size of the tournaments make a difference, If the average amount of players you are against is 100-150 you would be fine with 100 buy in's. Now if you are playing against 1000+ players you may want to have 200-250 buy in's to be safer as the amount of time it may take to hit a bigger payout may take a lot longer.

Don't listen to these people saying you need 10 buy-ins or even 500. 500 buy-ins is way too much for starting out. I'd recommend 100 buy-ins and enjoy playing those 100 tournaments, track how you do, and observe the results.

I ended up reading everyone's opinion and I agree with a conservative management, starting with 100buyins, mainly in micro limits. I think for every move up that I make, I need to keep the minimum of 100buyins, c with a maiss 100 aggregate, otherwise I do not go up.
:driver:

I swear on this because when I notice periods of negatividaade, I still tenhoo a comfortable bankroll:D:D:D:D:D

100 aszuming you can rellenish roll easily with outside funds. 300 if you dont mind moving down in stakes often, 1000 if you are playing semi pro, and 1000+ 1yr expenses if playing pro.
