free tournament are bad, because many players, they play the same crazy, go All In all the time, there when we have high cards and paid, he still wins with a small pair.

On the other hand they are free & a good chance to work on one's poker skills. One is under no obligation to play like an idiot & if a silly call or chase costs you, it's a good chance to work on your tilt control skills. Win, win IMO.

Freerolls are a joke for 90% of the people playing because of the small prizepools and $0 initial investment. I don't blame people for playing crazy (especially early in the tournament) because it's better to gamble early instead of wasting hours of your time to lose later on anyway.

To play a freeroll you must have patience, wait for a good hand and you can doble you chips with those players who play with everything.
Freerolls are a good way to create a bank, without having to deposit.
Although most players do not take a freeroll seriously, you play as well as possible, in the long term you can win something good.

It's easy! Play AS MANY FREEROLLS AS YOU CAN!
Don't go all-in, unless you are the 4th to go all-in, or can expect some more after you going all-in.
In that case you should hold at least a pocket-pair, middle to high suited connectors or Broadway cards.
In other words, pocket cards, that have at least 30% winning chance against 3 other players.
so it's 30% to 25%, you got at least 5% to your advance,
Once you took down that pot, relax, sit back AND WATCH THE OTHERS PLAY.
You have all the time to wait for your ´premium hand in a perfect spot.
DO SO!:playingba

This is the problem of free tournaments.

Players do not take any chances, and only play on the luck

Yeah people are very agressive in freerolls and make a lot of bad plays and some of them get lucky but its normal that they play like that because they have nothing to losse

I have learned a lot from playing free tournaments. It has built up my skill level. I also enjoy that the tournaments are offered a few times a day at the same time.

I like the freerolls because you don't have to risk anything to play. I've thought about just keeping my cashes and trying to build that way. I like America's Cardroom because there are good micro tournaments.

Coinpoker is pretty good too lot of freerolls on there for free CHP.

Sometimes you will get outdrawn but if you play solid poker and know how your hand plays against their wide shoving range you can get the money in good and double up. Sometimes you will lose. It is hard to get it in much better than 80/20 so even then you will lose 1 in 5 times.

In freeroll tournament many players will play crazy, go all-in all the time because they don't have anything to lose.

I have felt that way. One day, you win with with fours against kings. It will happen.

All the freeroll's problems are mitigated by the fact that freerolls don't cost anything but present an opportunity to build bankroll from the ground up.

Also to succeed in poker you've got to know your opponent and exploit his weaknesses; and bingo players are usually an easy money.

As for loosing to weaker hands - however strong hand you may have preflop it can be beaten by unlucky flop/turn/river. And luck is involved in all kind of poker tournaments (not just freerolls).

Most players start playing in freerolls in our early days, the problem of freerolls is that there are many multi-account players that go ALLIN with any hand, they do it because they have many registered players in that tournament

Interesting point but I'm not convinced that this is the case (at least for poker stars where i play). I've played freerolls for quite some time, and usually bingo players get eliminated pretty fast; thus multi-accounting as a way to up your chances seems useless.

Also there is a question of security. For example, in PS in order to get your winnings actually transferred to your PS account you've got to provide some details like name, address, phone number. For withdrawal the requirements would be more serious, i guess (as I've never done that yet), and they will surely involve your identity verification. So it seems like a whole lot of troubles for nothing (as freerolls rarely give an opportunity to win more or less serious money).

When a multi-account player has collected enough chips in a tournament, they start to play decently, they do not play the whole bingo-style tournament, the pokerstars' security process sometimes catches them when they go to withdraw money, but sometimes they devise methods, the system of security of pokerstars has improved a lot in recent months, I froze the account last year only because someone entered pokerstars from my laptop, I sent my documentation and they enabled my account, so now I do not lend my computer to no one, I would not be able to lend my computer again

It does not apply to all freerol tournaments
For example I play $ 100 freerol at Poker Stars
I also play Masters League at Poker Stars
These are freerol tournaments with very good players and much can be learned

look at the positive part, negatives always exist.
usually freerolls:
+ for bankroll building
+ for trying new tactics
+ easy chips from many
+ good play half way through the tournament
Some are worse than others, for me: ps elementary was the worst, so I found alternatives.
