Let's say I have A/10 s but the board comes something like 10/9/8 rainbow in an online tourney...shove, check, or min bet here?

Depends how deep you are.

Also depends what action makes you the most money. Sometimes betting does. Sometimes checking does.

This question is really quite general so expect a lot of differing answers here.

The only answer I have is it depends on factors which you have not included

What WiZZiM said.

It's impossible to answer unless you provide stack sizes, positions, players involved.

That said though, for you to get to the flop with AT I'm going to assume you're relatively deep in tournament terms and if thats the case, shoving or min betting seem incorrect for sure.

This a really tough situation and that's why I hate playing AT, especially unsuited. Top pair top kick can be huge underdog against over pair, two pair or a straight. Against tight aggressive player you will never know when he raise with big hand or just a flush or straight draw. Check/call here is also bad if overcards appear on the turn, or cards make the board even more wet. Really appreciate if someone can give a thorough instruction for this situation

Whats the action preflop?

Other factors- stacks, position, number of opponents left, blind level, etc...

Hard to answer without knowing those.

if its early in the tourney i would pot control.. try to keep pot as small as possible... if villain is eager to get money in the pot i would let it go and wait for better spot

I would put in this situation, we need to protect your hand from any draw.

C-bet, depending on number of players in the pot.
