you have 215,000 , next down #2 has 180,000.

how do you start to play? really loose? really aggressive? or same way u have all tourney? try to make $, or try to save$? or could nothing change since you made it here that way why not keep it.aren't you tempted to put everyone all in? but know they are looking at you and drooling hoping to get a nice chunk of change of you (damn savages)

I personally would tighten up, with a chip stack like that you could wait out the blinds until the cash, on the other hand that does open up the option to play suited connectors more loosely it kind of a double edged sword I would suggest playing how you feel comfortable playing. You got those chips one way or the other, no point in fixing something if it isn't broke!

Definitely don't get too loose or too aggressive, because this can get you in some trouble. You have a big chip stack, so preserve it. It's fine to drop to 3rd or 4th, no big deal. You don't, however, want to bluff off all of your chips and drop below average.

This is a very good question, because I often find myself in the same situation, and tend to screw it up in some way or other. I think I get too aggressive, so if I were you, I would tighten up, and that is what I need to do in the future !!! I chant to myself... be patient...don't donk yer chips away....be patient lol

just play really tight. there is no point in gambling with risky calls. dont play something worse than ak. maybe aj or aq if you are in the small or big blind and not many people have called with no raises. gamble more when you get to an amount of money you would like to win. or at least within 5 people of it. you are in first place so any play outstanding hands.

Sitout until 4 are left.

That is unless you get AA KK, don't try to steal as most likely you get caught.

Play Really Tight!

i would definitely play pretty tight here. although you have gained a lot of the chips by the way that you have played up until this point, there should be better players left in the tournament by now, and you don't want to gamble your money away at this point in the tournament. just play tight and only premium hands because you are in a great position to make the final table. and remember have fun.

That really depends on how the payout structure works, and how many left untill the money and so forth and so on. Now assuming were in the money, then I would more then likely play tight in EP & MP, but for the Cutoff, and Button, I would play them aggressivley (Assuming the players in them are somewhat Short Stacked, or more then able to fold out most of there BS cards). That's what I would do

It depends. what are the other stacks? how loose are the others playing? how loose have you been playing, in other words, what is your table image?

Not enough info to be honest.

i would tighten up even sit out is not a bad option being so close to the money and being chip leader unless you arent comfortable but i do kno people who play the same no matter how much chips they have and have done well but if it was me the turtle plan would be wat i would do .

I would have to agree with most everyone else by recommending to tighten up and play carefully. I'm always tempted to try and bluff my way to more chips with the rationale that "hey, I still got plenty more" untill the next biggest stack at the table gets doubled up... However, one thing I always like to do when I have some chips is to make sure that, if I want to play a hand and people are trying to limp, I'll make them pay. Since I got chips, it'll cost you some extra to see the flop, which can help you get a good read on your callers. Then if you hit something, excellent, so many more chips already ion the pot. If you miss, hey, to you, 4-5 BBs isn't that much anyway, but at least you know now who might be willing to chase your raise.

Tighten up,altleast i would. When u get to that point it is easy to let yourself play more hands and get a lil tooo comfortable then next thing u will know u have less than 100k after one or two badly forced hands. It takes alot of skill and luck to get to that point and those chips could very well carry you to the final table.I was chip leader in a simalar position by almost 250k ahead of the feild and should have won the thing but got way too comfortable and ended up finishing 15th.The deeper u get in a mtt the better players u will be up agaisnt so keep that in mind and also everyone is wanting to double up on u.When a small stack shoves and nobody calls and it is up to u,dont feel that just cause its a small stack that it wont hurt u but it does.
