Micromillions on pokerstars are coming. Any advice from someone who eventually played these types of tournaments? :stupido3:
The first thing that, in my opinion, should help on the way to victory is the right attitude. Treat the series as a sport! Remember - what adrenaline and interest were experienced before before any competition, with what passion they fought for victory.
Make sure you are 100% ready. Basically, this means - you are healthy, slept well, there is no reason for concern from the outside and in the next 8-10 hours, as they say, "the whole world will wait." If at least one of these conditions is not fulfilled, I assure you that you should not run these wild kilos, since by the most important stage you will simply run out of battery and all efforts will pour out, a maximum of a miserable doubling of the buy-in for which you will spend 5 hours or more. Do you need it? If a marathon runner went a distance feeling unwell or, if he knew that he had a plane in a couple of hours, would someone consider him smart?
Do not try to double in the beginning at all costs !! This is probably the most inexplicable fallacy of MTT beginners. A large stack at the start does not give us absolutely nothing. We cannot create pressure on the table, since the stacks of the rivals are still large and no one will be afraid of us. In addition, there is no ante and it is unprofitable to style in principle. But more often, in attempts to dramatically increase the stack, we will fly out at an early stage, and this is a disaster, given that our main task in the killing field is to keep the stack for later battles. Placing your 100 or more preflop blinds in a regular freezeout without {k -} {k-} or {a -} {a-} in most cases would be a mistake.
