Friends,

I have recently discovered some very fast MTTs at PS with a very short and specific time to run (normally 15 or 30 minutes) which can fit better the schedule of time for some players with limitations in their agenda...

Do you consider it really interesting? There is here any regular player focusing in this type of MTT? And any good strategy to suggest suitable for this type of structure?

I don't have much experience with these but I felt like they were just an endless series of all in's. If you had any pocket pair or had it folded to you in late position you would go all in.

Thanks and it is a possible strategy and I will try it Today later...

As the average buy-in is US$1,00 and I will try it as it takes only 15 minutes so I can try it a couple of times during the day...

I think that the Money you earn if you survive until the end depends on the size of your stack or position...
After playing some MTTs like this I will post my comments and conclusions here...

They are ok and have some nice advantages. Like you said, they don't take a lot of time. If you get no hand at all in that short time, no worries, because you will not lose all your buy in, just a part of it, as you will be still in the game, just with a shorter stack. If on the contrary you get smacked by the deck, there is a big chance they will pay off, because they feel there is only a short time to gain chips, so they have to play ATC or close to that. So be carefull with steals, bluffs and small pocket pairs. You will likely get called.

Abramo,

Very nice comments and suggestions and I have played it Today 3 times (2 times ITM and one of them earning more than the buy-in)....

And actually the players normally use a more agressive/loose strategy due to the very short duration...

However if you play tight and mainly when in position and not stealing so much blinds at least not without good suited connectors like 7-8s, 8-9s, 9-Ts, T-Js, J-Qs and Q-Ks or A-Ts, AJs, AQs and AK (suited or not) or even with medium or top pairs in the hand so that you can make a huge raise or even going all-in you gonna have success in this structure of MTTs...

And also I sugest using all the time you have when in your turn and normally you will finish ITM and maybe with some lucky hands you can finish above the average stack of the survivors and earning more than the buy-in spent and earning the starcoins/VPPs too besides completing some Giveway´s challenges and its tickets...

Tks and rgds,

Interesting if you only have a short time (or attention spell).

Avoid all ins early unless you have the cards - no point in trying to find out what others are doing unless you have previous notes.

That is it!!
Good and direct analysis and I will invest more of my specific time dedicated tp poker trying more this new style/structure (Time Bombs)...

Before when I had just few time I was used to play the SNG of 9 or 18 players and sometimes the Spin&Go which is the fastest however with a lot of variance despite of my good average of winnings playing Spin&Go (about 45%... I just need more lucky in the spin to be more profitable...lol)
