Yeah, I have... this was when I first started out. Just jammed all-in a few hands in a row and became chipleader and eventually reached the final table.

So - stupid and inexperienced as I was - I thought that I stumbled upon a winning concept. Cost me a few deposits to figure out it's not actually a winning concept

I see people tilt vs me or other players and get extremely lucky, but it never works for me.

Generally speaking, you really don’t want to get lucky when on tilt. Bad decisions that turn into bad habits because you were rewarded by a positive results can take longer to get out of because the times you were rewarded will often be recalled as evidence pointing towards justifying the bad decisions. In other words, it can set you up for truly unrealistic expectations which will hurt in the long run.

Lucky for me I have not let tilt take over my game. I am pretty mellow overall and just have better things to get upset over. I admit this is a good think when I play live.

I have seen people start complaining about cards and the next hand they get AA or KK. I've done this too.They say the squeaky wheel gets the grease! But of course you only remember the time it worked, not all the other times you complained and you got dreck.

Seems the way it always goes

It happens a lot of times when i get tilted for losing more than half of my stack deep in a tourney and lose hope and all of of a sudden triple spins in a row and leading the tourney just like that.

I have seen 2,3 hand allins after the tilt go through which lets most of the lost stack get re-coped. Maybe it works in Turbo tourneys sometimes where you need that extra ignition. Not a good habit.

I have a rule. If I feel tilted, I immediately stop playing. I do not want to rely solely on luck. I am convinced that it is best to play poker only when you are in full control of your emotions.

Even if I gor lucky rarely , I would lose money later due to loose play mistakes or because I couldn't just take the money that I won and leave the cash table , or in tournament tilting will eventually bring me to a very bad decision and lose everything in a hand .

Most times when I tilt I make the worst decisions imaginable. However I've gotten miraculous lucky runs as well. I consider that the tilting and lucky runs will eventually even out over the long run but practice and learning to be the backbone of a maturing poker player that will eventually separate you from the crowd. : )

I'm sure everyone has gotten lucky when on tilt. It's important to know how to turn the tilt into something positive.

When I am drinking at times, I do.Even sometimes if something has come up, I may need to leave. I have went tilting every hand and have won being very lucky. But now I am more patient even if I make a mistake in a hand and lose, I don't tilt now. As long as you have chips anything can happen.
