So, I haven't been able to find a detailed HH for this situation, but, I have a feeling it doesn't really matter. Wondering what everyone's thoughts are though - do we call with 55 in this spot?

There are bad beats and bad spots in Poker, and then there's this. The guy shows you his junk and his cards and is very clearly....something.

Meta
1. It's level 1 of the ultimate single entry freeze out
2. Lots are players are not bankrolled for $10K events and are taking a huge shot - min-cashes are great lots of times
3. Unsure of this particular guy's situation

Pro's
1. You know you're a 70/30 favorite
2. Double ups are fun
3. If you don't call - you'll be on tilt in some fashion the rest of the day "I could have $120K"

Con's
1. It's Level 1 of the ****ing ME
2. Doubling up, in this event, in this level, is all but meaningless
3. You lose - and that really sucks
4. Phil Ivey snap calls - unfortunately, you are not Phil Ivey

This is as tight a spot as I can even imagine. I suspect we're going to have nearly exactly 50/50 in opinions. I have to be glad this didn't happen to me, for sure, but feel for the poor guy facing this down.
