I was thinking of just grinding live MTT at my local casino.. if not casino(s) as most of them are about an hour away but the Casino I go to (only one I've been to) is an Indian Casino where most of my family lives around in fact my grandma on my dads side lives right across the street.

here are the tournaments I was thinking about playing (every day for a month) To do this what will my bankroll need to be.. Or I should say "should be" since I wanna do this even if I have to do it with bad BRM (I know its terrible)

Schedule:

Every 2nd and 4th Monday - $110 BI / 10k+2k

Tuesdays - $20 BI / 15k+5k

Thursdays - $30 BI / 4k+1k

Sat- $30 BI / 4k+1k

Sun - $30 BI / 5k +1k

All "+" are dealer appreciation add ons which all are $5

All tournaments are Re-entry though I don't plan on re- entering because I don't plan on busting =)

What tournaments should I Add on if not all? Some don't seem worth the add on..

I wonder if I can go a month without eating? 0.o

Disclaimer: Obviously I can't play Mondays every day like the rest as it won't always be the 2nd and 4th Monday..

Should I take a shot? these fields are pretty soft..

Also question: how big are these field normally would you think? and how much of the field do they pay? I don't see any information on the website and the few tournaments I played live in were 2 or 5 table SNG's with the exception of my first ever live tournament where it just looked like a room full of people and the 300k GTD Event which was a bigger room full of more people with a Day 1 A and day 1B =o

well based on 4 weeks (close to a month) with the add on thing your looking at 850$ / 14 games = ~61. So approx 61$ avg buyin x 100 (if looking at min 100bi for mtt) you need a 6k br :D.

I take it thats essentially what you were wondering? Also I think the add on is probably worth it as its in the least cases giving you a bigger increase in chips than the % addition to the tourny cost, just a thought on that.

Basically if you just wanna make this a challenge for the month and don't plan to do reentries and just wanna see how it goes you need 850$ to play for four weeks with the addon and no rentry.

Thing I meant to but forgot to mention and was part of the "how much I would need question" is what % of the time would I need to win/ place highly to make this a +EV challenge.. Thing is I don't think its possible to answer this question with out knowing field size and % of field pay out..

Yup you sir answered your own question on that one, without having some further info on fields and payout structure etc its hard to tell but I would figure if you can just take down the first one then that should set you up for a nice start haha. I'd imagine reentries are going to boost the prize pools certainly so difficult to know even if you knew how many they typcially get.

of course you should take a shot. these buy ins are super low and they are really good for the area. give it a shot a couple of times and see what happens.
