I've struggled with these as well. I'm by no means an expert but I found that loosening up my range a bit has helped as well as being more aggressive on hands that I have a solid hold of than I normally would. I find a lot of people are trying to chip up fast so they are more willing to call large bets when I have the nuts or a very solid hand.

Like I said though - I'm by no means a master at this so I'm looking forward to what others suggest.

Turbo Adjustments!

Pick your spots like in any other games. If you are on a table where they are agressive then play tight. If you are on a tight table loosen up your range. Be prepared to go on tilt and have to play short stack strategies more often but be patient and choose wisely.

Besides betting and keeping your fingers crossed, start crossing your arms, legs, toes and eyes. That will help a lot. ...

The next game, open up your range, a lot. These seem to be all too much like all-in or folds ... :(

umm you don't really need to adjust anything - you're playing exactly the same game as reg SNGs but just reaching push/fold mode earlier.
