Is there a programme apart from table ninja to keep track of how many BB's you have?

Hi, this might seem a bit of a stupid question but I installed table ninja the other night to give it a whirl and must say, the hot keys are totally irrelevant to me and I find it easier with the mouse as I stack tables.

However it wasn't all bad news as I found a couple of things on it useful. One being the auto pressing timebank and never sit out mode is quite useful and most of all the BigBlind counter that you can have displayed on the table.

Basically as I'm sure you know but just in case noone does know it tells you how many big blinds you have left making it far easier when mass multi tabling. Get a look at cards and position and not have to quickly get an estimate on how many BigBlinds I have and if I should shove. It's so much easier, just "7bbs" in red writing and your away.

Just wonder if anyone knows of a programme that is Legal that would basically just displays this information? It's by far for me the best feature on table ninja, I'm just unsure after the trial runs out if I can warrant paying out for the full programme for using very few features..

Of course I'm going to use the programme until the end of its trial and if I have made more profit or found myself being able to add more tables or whatever and it works out that I can warrant paying the extra then I will buy it.

ps: How do you get rid of the auto bet sizing it puts in on table ninja? Is there a way of disabling it?

I assign the hotkeys to my mouse buttons and I stack as well. I have my thumb button as fold, right click for raise and the other sides button for calling. The scroll wheel controls bet sizing. When a table pops up I can just hover the mouse over any part of the table and click each button, no moving the mouse at all.

Have you tried adjusting all of the default bets under 'pot betting' tab to 0%? At the moment I have the post flop bet sizes to 70%flop 60%turn and 50%river but adjust them to suit each situation with the scroll wheel.

I think bonfli was referring to the question of displaying bb's. Both PT3 and HEM HUDs will do this. They don't do bet-sizing.

If you download autohotkey and some scripts I think you can get #bb's displayed, as well as some default bet sizes. I'm trying to find a script that'll let me mark hands with PT3 with a hotkey, doing it with a mouse is obnoxious.

I'm not so up to date with these scripts. Could you elaborate on how I go about this and where to get the script from?

cheers

You can try "Long Hud", i haven't played around with it much, but it's completely programmable. The only drawback is that it's in German, hehe. But you can google translate pretty much anything, and it's free too.

The de-facto site for poker-related AHK scripts is Overcards. Here is a link to their AHK page:

http://overcards.com/wiki/moin.cgi/AutoHotKey

Mind you it's a bit dated, but you'll find several bet-sizing and table-management scripts there. Before Table Ninja took much of the market, most serious grinders used AHK to do the same things. Many still do -- the software forum at 2p2 still updates and releases AHK scripts.
