imo this guy played a flush draw way too aggressively with a pair on board. i didnt think he was chasing that.

Heads up, I'm not flat calling the turn bet... that's where I'd make him pay. I'd think I was ahead no matter the kicker on that board. I see what you're saying, but I think its too cautious.

Does it really make any sense to say, "I didn't want to raise because I didn't like my kicker, but I'll call off my stack anyway"?

Probably fold pre, shove turn.

I actually don't think calling down is that terrible now that I think of it, especially if there's an aggressive dynamic.

Flatting makes you look either super strong or on a draw, the draw is irrelevant to him as he has the nut flush so you have K or are putting him on a draw and floating in case he misses. If you're been playing aggresively then shove turn. Either way when river comes he isn't putting a penny in unless he hits, if you thought you mghit be outkicked why are we calling the river? If you're willing to get it in on the river when a draw is completed then getting it in on the turn is a no brainer really.

By "monkey" you mean like "99.9% of HU players.*"

* unless he's American, then you can just fold.
