How do i play against a guy whose table image is a loose bluffing machine? For example: if he is playing against me and i have middle pair i raise and reraises how to do i decide whether he is bluffing or really has something besides just tells?

Magic 8-ball?

Hard question to answer, was the villain limping into a lot of pots and playing the flop or raising a lot taking the blinds? How often was he 3-betting? What position were each of you?

If villain really is 3-betting a pretty wide range the answer is you can't tell. That's the whole point of that strategy, trapping people into making mistakes with mediocre hands against your monsters.

Are you tracking beyond VPiP? While he may raise often and play a lot of pots, a reraise could mean something entirely different and would have to be respected. Just takes a little extra patience and attention to figure out if he's playing LAG on purpose or is just an idiot. If he is LAG as a style then he wants nothing more than for you to think he's an idiot. Take your time. His stack will grow but soon he'll be on the rail when someone catches him red handed. Or he is going to have to shift gears.
