Survey Tourney Lengths

I want to compile a database of tourney times and how they proceed.
I'm interested in what percentage of the starting field is gone at each break.

For example, In most large tourneys, about half the field is gone at the first break, half of those gone at the 2nd break etc.

Info I would like is But-in, total entrants at the start, and how many were still alive at each break. Easy to jot down on a piece of paper and transfer here. Something to do at the breaks.

Please put only what you know, so if you bust out before the first break, don't put anything here. If you can provide a complete set of data from observation, great! I will assume standard online break times, each 'period' is an hour long. I will ignore the synchronized breaks aspect of Full Tilt for the present, but noting it was a FT tourney might fit in later.

No other comments necessary, I'm just collecting data for a week or so.

Meh, I had a comment on how I calculate it from observations but you want raw data not comments...certainly not posts like this. I should probably delete this.

I'm sure you've thought of this, but blind speed is a huge determinant in this. I'd make sure you get people to include that in any data they post. (5, 10, 15-minute blinds, etc) Also, some MTTs have breaks every 90-minutes, so people might want to include that info as well. (a little math could easily convert those numbers into standard one-hour breakdowns)

Anyway, I'll track my next few MTTs and post it if I last long enough for the data to be of any use.

Not sure if I have the format the way you want it but the first number is the total, followed by number of players left during the breaks (I only survived through 4 of them):

Here's some #'s from todays poker stars 250k - I added in 30 min increments due to the large field and other interesting info:

Cards start flying 3:30pm 22,708 registered so far....45-50 mins later late registration stops totalling 28,917 registered.
1st break 14,831
30 mins later 7,644
2nd break 4,439
30 mins later 2,170
Knocked out - 1935ish - table closed down - won $31.81 using $2.20 satty buy-in.
Duration: 2hrs 49 mins.

$2.20 MTT into Sunday 1/4 million w/10 minute blinds 1500 chips to start - 1 hour between breaks - top 14 win $11 tickets to Sunday 1/4 mill
