hi guys

Recently joined a local poker league thats free to play, they play for points rather than cash. There are usually two or three tables. Without sounding arrogant, the standards not that high and I should be owning these guys. Most of them have no concept of position or ranges, they limp any hand containing an ace or king, tiny pairs, tiny suited connectors. Most of them have a vpip of like 60%. They bet like mad post flop then turn over pairs, two pairs, even high cards to take the pot.

The other night I basically didnt get dealt a decent hand all night and just bided my time. Then my m number got to about 5 so was thinking all ins are my only move. Got ak suited, shoved and got called with a pair of threes and lost.
My question is this. If ur supposed to be loose against tight players, tight against loose. What do I do when im getting no decent cards. Can't blind steal because they always call. If I limp in with speculative hands and miss the flop, they start betting big with small pairs and overcards. Only way it seems is to get to showdown with the best hand. But if im getting dealt shit all night I dont know what I can do.

Any ideas?

Just pray to the poker gods for better starting hands.
Start shipping your AK AQ KQ when JJ QQ etc when you have more chips. They want to play their suited connectors, ship it. While you're only a 60/40 most times, you'll win enough of those to really stack up. Love your donks, they will pay you off

If they're letting you limp in preflop, do it in the early stages of the tournament with speculative hands in good position and pretty much with any two cards on the button. Most of the time you'll be folding on the flop, but when you do hit a hand it will be well-concealed and it sounds like they will pay you off. When limpers give me the opportunity to see a lot of flops cheaply, I take it, especially when I can expect them to bet with weak hands on the flop.

If you get a premium hand preflop, raise substantially or shove.

If you just sit and wait for good preflop starting hands, you won't be too successful because most of the time they won't show up until it is too late.
