Hi,

What's your guys opinions on min raising the blinds in later stages on a sng mainly to steal

And how about cbet bluffing small bets less than 50% of the pot? On dry boards and vs players you have no reason to believe call cbets often

I've read mixed responses to each of these strategies

There is no single answer. Very much will depend on the statistics of your opponents, on the size of the stacks, the position and so on. If everything was so simple and unambiguous - poker as a game would not make sense. :D

Fair enough, so its not a simple no you should never do it?

If the stack size allows you to steal, not being afraid that you have to fold to reraise - why not?

If the stacks are too short to widely steal mini-raise, you just have to play push!

So you would not recommend stealing much vs short stacks?

The shorter the player's stack is in the blinds, the more aggressive and broader he must be against theft. This gives you a good chance to knock him out by trying to steal with a good card, and puts you in a difficult position when you want to steal without having good showdown cards.
