I'm not at the moment, but I was before the Full Tilt shutdown and I'll probably be back to them if I ever get my bankroll back.

Pretty sure there's a few others that are still playing on Stars though.

I've been playing quite a few SNGs lately on a new party poker skin. Mostly just because their tournament schedule doesn't fit mine very well.

They are kind of a grind, very hard to maintain even a two digit ROI over the long term. I'd imagine 50/50's/DONs are even worse. The only saving grace is that you can play a lot more simultaneously, which is hard to do with MTTs.

No such thing. STT players stab themselves in the ankles too quickly to become regs imo.

The DONs have a flat payout structure but in the 50/50 the ITM positions get part of the prize as a ratio of their finishing stack, so these are a little bit closer to a regular SNG.

I regularly play STT's on Carbon and ACR (America's Card Room, was Doyles Room). I like the cheap 'Final Table Experience' games at ACR. .90+.09 and the 3.0+30's. Problem is they fill real slow most of the time. But since I won $10 via a DR freeroll, I have turned it into ~~$40 via those games.

The only MTT's I've played recently are freerolls, or games I wish I would not have at Carbon.:(

I know there is resistance to the Yatahay games, but as far as the software goes, I do like it, thinking it is top 5 of anything I can see, and top 3 of any site I can play. Attendance has picked up quite a bit since they advertised during the wsop on TV.

More fish there than at Carbon...... PT3 works, but can not do auto seating, so I have to shift players around.

I have several hundred hands on many of the regs there, so, they must have that many on me, thus I guess I am a reg at ACR.

Seems like pretty much the way to start for someone looking to build a roll. I'm about 350 games in and have moved up already.

Attractive table can do full wide screen, even stars doesn't do that. It might take a while to figure things out as the table gears are a little different than the FT/Stars/Cereus 'standard.'

While it was still DR, the average attendance was low, like hovering around 1K most of the time (for reference Carbon was getting a little less than 10k. This number went up when ACR bought DR, to the 2-3K range. DR was primarily a ring site, I think ACR will be more tilted toward tourney's.

Load it up, my desktop icon still says Doyle's Room. It should update automatically.

Freeroll Fridays seems to have been institutionalized there, 16-20 per day, about an hour apart, otherwise there are only a few cheap freerolls there the rest of the week.

thanks dj. I didnt like DR's software, so hardly played there, but will go take a look at this site and see how it feels. Us non-US players have freedom of choice when it comes to poker sites, sorry to say to you US guys.

Due to bad play, bad BRM etc I totally screwed up and hardly have any BR left.
That made me start playing micro STT about a month ago.
After struggling a while I decided to stick to $ 1,50 turbo until hopefully my roll will allow me to get to higher stakes again.
However, I think that'll last a while because after playing about 350-400 of them I'm just slightly profitable at them, but I'm learning.
I see a lot of the same players again and again, so I make notes, colorcodes and analyze my game in PT3, where I already found some big leaks in my play.
So hopefully I'll get better at them and increase profit.
Last week I was nr 138 on the Mercury High-orbit board and hope to do better this week. Finishing high on that board could give the roll a boost.
Anyway, that's a bit my sory at this moment.
Gl all.

I have actually started them this past week on Carbon. I don't have the roll to play 10nl nor the patience to play 4nl so I am trying these to build up the bankroll to go back to cash.
I have found the $5 ones on Carbon similarly as soft as bodog.
I have only played about 10 so far but cashed in 8 and bubbled 2.
I do only play 1 at a time though.

Hard for me to remember, but I think the older old DR software was Cake? I still do not like cake. There was a short period (IIRC) where they were using old tires for software, and it was during that period DR lost lots of regs. It may have been in the first days of the move to Yatahay, and that software was about as good as old tires.........

From a purely ergonomic POV, the new Yatahay software is very nice, still a few ruff edges, but they are moving along well. Still takes a long time to fill even a STT, but being west coast, I sort have always expected that with any site with a limited player pool. When I start, 1/2 the poker players in the world are already done for the day.
