I’m just recently playing a lot more of these STT and I do enjoy them but one thing I can seem to figure out is the heads up battle for first place. It’s definitely my biggest leak. Any advice appreciated

What kind of buy-in of tournaments do you play? Perhaps it's worth to try the cheapest Spin & Go (0.25 c) to get used to the game against one or two opponents?

That’s why I’m having such a hard time understanding. I can play HU S+G and can play HU cash (totally different) I have tons of spin & gos under my belt up to the 100$ level but for some reason HU in a STT (9 player usually) that last person is just so much harder than they should be

I have a challenge that will be starting tomorrow if you are interested to see how we solve this problem. It’s called STT Challenge shouldn’t be too hard to find

Hi Mate,You did not mentioned what size of BI you play mostly these STT's, but in general - you shall widen your range of hands to fight for in HU stage,
If you are interested, I have one challenge thread - exactly for these, and also some final hands replays: https://www.cardschat.com/forum/poker-goals-challenges-wins-46/dejanges-sng-challenge-355801/

FE: The last STT I won - it was with hand I almost folded preflop (T5o), but the opponent was holding crappy hand as well, so I hit a 5 on the board and shipped it :D

Are you getting to heads up with less or more chips than your opponants?
How many games have you played?
What stack sizes do you typically lose games with?

answer me that to give me a little insight
