Strategy;Winner takes all vs Normal (r&a) Tournaments

I'm trying to figure out if most players are more aggressive in WTA tournaments vs regular tournaments I seem to fair better in the WTA tourniments but the same aggressive style doesn't work as well in other tournaments.

Personally, I believe that a balanced and adaptable strategy is the best since being aggressive could lead us to face a train.
