Good night, guys.
I usually play 6-max SNG of $1.50 and have had major problems in the heads Up. I can get to itm with a good frequency, but heads Up looks like it all goes. I raise give bu with more or less 80% of the hands, I do C-bets most of the time and 3-bets with a certain frequency when I have a good hand but I have not managed to have good results in the heads Up and it seems that the variance does not walk well with me (only yesterday I lost a with AA p RA a Q8o and a KK for T5o).
Do you have any tips that might help improve my game at this stage?
I struggle with heads up too. I play too tight and fold too many hands. When I finally do call the other guy lucks out with a monster hand lol

Unfortunately the only way to get good at heads up is to play a lot. This is pretty difficult because you just don't find yourself in that position a lot.
My first suggestion is to find some heads up SNGs with a low buy in to start getting in a lot of hands heads up.
My second suggestion is do not forget about the math. Usually, if you can get some live cards (which isn't hard heads up) you are at worst 60/40 which is pretty close to 50/50. There just isn't that much difference. Pick your hands and shove. Open your range really wide. I'd be really wary about shoving with Ace/trash because that is most likely the hands that will call your shove Ax, Kx, or small pairs. Its pretty easy to get close to 50/50. I was real successful with this learning because I wouldn't have better players grind me down.
Let the other player "find" a hand to call stacks.

In heads up you have to play more aggressive, expand you range of hands, cards like 56 67 89 etc, charge a lot of value, more if they are souted connectors.
You have to read the villain, and take advantage of it.
And lose with AA or KK against weaker hands, it is common in the HU, I also play 6max, and it has happened to me, but if you maintain a good strategy, in the end you will see the good results, although at the beginning you have badbeats.

You must attack at all times to focus your rial and take a good hand to get it out of the game

You can't do anything about the cards dealt,
so you have to play the player.
You can take advantage of tight players who will bleed chips and take even more advantage of aggressive players who will bleed larger amounts of chips or they take the gamble with weaker hands.

Yes rule of thumb is raise button 80 % and call 60 % oop. Also Kx and pairs are really strong hu.

re: Poker & Strategy heads up
The way I approach heads up is. I mix up my play constantly. On one hand not necessarily a good one I raise. Sometimes I'll limp with the big hands. Sometimes I'll go all in with anything when I have the chip lead. Heads up sometimes can be intimidating , after all your opponent had to get to heads up too so you know he might be a good player as well. When all else fails, leave a prayer at the poker god's feet. Cheers!!
