It really depends on the structure of the tournament's blinds levels and the chips you are begining with . The less chips and the shorter the blind levels they are the more loose you are forced to play , if you want to accumulate chips and stay alive in the tournament . That's why I hate those kind of hyper turbo tournaments , you can't really play poker . But if it's a normal tournament , you can start playing tight aggressive but be ready to limp on every chance you are given at the begining or min raise from position with suited connectors for example , if you have enough chips , especially if you build big stack . Later , you can try to steal blinds on the bubble from nits or TAGs , play thyen very aggressively the more stack you have .Post bubble try to loosen style , play your oponents , untill preFT ,then be carefull . On FT , play again aggressively the good cards and spots . GL.
