First post:)

I have noticed time and time again at the final table of a tourney, I seem to always be left with the people sitting near to me, and the people farther from me are always gone first. I realize this could be coincidence, but it has happened so much that I am beginning to think it is something I am doing that makes it easier for players directly before and after me:confused:.

This is probably a stupid question and everyone is gonna laugh and say "coincidence".

I would think that if it were something you were doing to make it easier for the players on either side of you than your seat would be the one most often vacated first.;)

The guy on your right will never benefit from your play unless the entire table benefits, but even then he will be helped less than everyone else.

You're not making it easier for him to hang around than for the rest of the table.

Could be strategy.... if we read a lot into it, just a thought but the person beside the biggest most aggressive stack could be spared too much heart ache because they usually have position on them and can fight back with re-raises when they are strong, if this is true then we may have some basis for a strategy, but I think I just made it up.
