So I've manage to accumulate $7 in profits on 888 poker in 1 week on free rolls, I've deposited $10 initially and now I'm at 17 should I play Low Level MTT's or just stick to free rolls until I'm more confident and have a higher bank roll? I'don't really want too get into my own $10 that i deposited rather play on 888's money.. So far I've only I've only managed too place 46 in a tourney of 2000+ but they are turbo. I'm more confident playing acr freerolls at the 10 minute mark, are all mtt's on 888 turbo? any suggestions?

The $7 you made and the $10 are all your money. You can make money from freerolls and playing.

Play a couple $1 MTTs and then re-evaluate. :)

personally I would wait a little while and then play some cheap SnGs.
bankroll management will be the key to not depositing again :)
best of luck whatever you decide :)

You can definitely try to do something with 7$ you won from freerolls, 888poker has a lot of different freerolls so mix sng's with freerolls, mtt's arent the best case for new players I think.

888 has MTTs that aren't turbo but I believe the buy-ins start at $1 so that's a bit too risky for a bankroll of $17.

Maybe you could try your hand at their $0.40 10-handed non-turbo SNGs? You have enough to play at least a dozen buy-ins before dipping into your $10 deposit.

Overall, I would say the best thing to do is to keep playing freerolls for now. Those $200 freerolls that run six times per day are awesome.

they have $50 freerolls at acr every 3 hours up until 11pm start at 5am i play most of them starting doing this 2 weeks ago I'm up to $16.25 just playing freerolls plus acr has a lot of 1o cent 25 cent and 50 cent tourneys to build up more and not lose your bankroll from the freerolls if i get below $5 i will just stick to freerolls until i build it back up but hopefully the cheap tourneys will build it up even more.

I was thinking the 40C double up SnG whe ni build my roll up a lil more maybe..

Yes plus i also keep getting tickets to the $1000 as well bu tthere at 2pm ish and have like 8000+ people in them,

I've been playing these as well my bank roll there is only $4, I dunno how too play omaha hi-lo on wednesdays and can usually just hit the top 198 for 7 cents in omaha, However on Mondays on holdem I've reached 11th place, 14th and 20th place.. wish it was only hold'em free rolls but eventually i'll figure out how too play better at omaha maybe i should read up on it..

BOL and ACR have freerolls pretty much each day that require a password. One starts in less than an hour on BOL called Tarzaned. You find passwords on Twitch or Twitter. The Casino.org freeroll on ACR is good (but only $50 pay out).

I like the freerolls that have passwords. The field is smaller, and usually the prizes are better. Of course nothing beats the daily Cards Chat freerolls that you should be eligible for in a couple weeks.

Build that bankroll and experience, then move on to buy ins.

I would prefer to play with real money with a bigger bankroll because I would feel more secure, so, I would stick a little more time with freerolls if I was you.

If you're trying to build a bankroll, then make sure you're spending a small proportion of your total roll on tournament buy ins. Some players spend no more than 1% of their roll on buy-ins. So with $100 in your account, they play $1 MTTs.

It's a good way to extend your bankroll and help negate bad luck in the short-term. That way you get to keep playing. Freerolls are great because they're always positive value. If the freeroll is worth your time, play it! :)

I've made $19.10 on ACR, but I'm still sticking to freerolls. Mainly because I don't feel confident to go to higher levels. (Although I'm not sure how to realize when to start playing low stakes MTTs.)

Invest on your profits

You can try playing tournaments with $1 - $5 buyins with your profits from the freerolls. The payouts in these tournaments are pretty good compared to your bankroll. I think the main advantage you have in freerolls is that most players are in it for fun so if you play with a consistant strategy you can have a pretty good edge over your opponents.

Maybe you can mix in some SnGs into some Freerollaction. That way you can take a little shot while already accumulating possible loses.

If you just want to kill some time and have fun, then freerolls are fine for that. But if you want to improve and become better, then freerolls wont give you much, because they usually have a very fast blind structure and a lot of players dont take them serious at all. Or at least not until you get to the final table or something.

Freerolls are also not good for “building a bankroll”, because you simply spend to much time compared to the small amount of money, you can possibly win. There are much faster ways to earn money away from poker.

Finally if 10$ really matter to you, then you should probably just go to the play money tables. Any real money poker games other than freerolls involve the risk of losing money, and it does not really matter, if you lose money, you got from spending 100 hours on freerolls or 1 hour on a regular job. Its still your money, and it had a purchasing power, until you lost it.

You might try to start playing low buy-in mtt but keep on playing freerolls by the way. Freerolls are always a good way to build up your bankroll.

Continue playing free rolls for sure, but feel free to take a shot or two at some SNG's or micro MTT's. I would wait until I got to $100 at least before I considered stopping the freerolls.

I did similar with freerolls in MTTs. I tried to play SnGs on small level, but there, I don`t know why I couldn`t win until now . Perhaps in MTTs I play more carefully. No at 888 some tournaments are without Turbo, too. They don`t have the "T"-symbol. Normally 8 minutes from rising the blinds.
Perhaps try MTTs with a small payin and check your results

Should add that when I say "freerolls", I mean those general ones, that everyone can play. I dont even know, which ones 888 Poker have now, because in my country (sweden) we are not allowed to play freerolls. But a daily 500$ seeing 3.000 participants and other stuff of that nature.

Restricted freerolls like the CC platinum club ones, which 888 Poker has weekly, is a different story, because they usually have a much better structure (10 minute blind intervals) and better players, who takes it much more serious. So those are a decent way to get MTT practice. But the hyper turbo nonsense, which most of the other freerolls are, are not going to prepare you well for regular MTTs.

Winning money in the freeroll is good, but invested in other tournaments can be advantageous, just apply it properly, and play with attention and respect, results come from persistence, not softness.

I think i should just stick to freerolls forever. Whenever i make a win, i try to take a shot and end up in the most ridicolous hands i ever saw in my life.

Like i just lost the last Spin & Go with AJ to 37, following the AQ to K2 bust. Love it. Three $ for that opponent, talented poker player.
