Its is very helpful in all types of games in poker. Knowing if some one is a fish or a reg or maybe if he is a loose aggressive or tight aggressive can help you make descions in your play. so always be ready to make notes on players on how they react

Stereo types in poker can be just as dangerous as doing it walking down the street. We all know how certain ppl are going to play based on looks. Baseball and hat, you know he's going to be hyper aggressive and you just wait to trap him. Old guy, you know he's a NIt and only betting with the nuts. Women are just easy pray. Of course all this can bite one in the butt. Also playing styles can give away a level of players. You can almost pick where a person is in their poker "evaluation".
