Are you the type to rebuy 5 times when others are still on their first buy in? Or are you the type that likes being labeled table bully and wants 8 other guys gunning for you? When I see a player open in a tournament all in they are my first target.

Well if it is a micro tournament which allows multiple rebuys, sure why not, but if it is a tournament such as a large field mtt which dont allows rebuys, i think alling in first hand is a bad choice. I normally would pick my spots and play them super aggresively. Fold marginal hands and just be a terror with hands that i do play with. gl sir

The peculiarity of the early stage is in the small blinds and, in comparison with them, very large stacks. In view of the small blinds, it is much easier to lose a big pot than to win. You must play very tight and avoid all difficult decisions. Tournaments are not won at an early stage.
The ratio of your stack to the blinds in the course of the tournament is constantly changing. Based on this, you must adapt your game to the tournament situation. At the beginning and at the end of the tournament you have to play different ranges of hands.

Very often this is a bluff from maniacs. If you have a ready hand - it's good to quickly double by fatty fish. ))

In the beginning of a tournament I believe that It's very important to only play good hands. I play hands that are starting pairs or hands that have straight and flush potential.

This is simply not reasonable. If there is an additional entrance, then this is another matter. In all other cases, there is no point.

Any two will do if you're just shove happy. I'm assuming it's freerolls. If I'm paying to play then I play more "normal". I still lose with good cards. It's all luck driven

I usually wait around 30 minutes to start or sit out for a while to avoid players like you. No matter what you are dealt someone always sucks out -

Usually, after 30 min to an hour, most of you guys are busted out and people can start playing actual poker

Hello, I tournaments start them in a non-aggressive way since it is not worth losing to a rival that has equaled you and has worse game than you, I play aggressive at the beginning of a tournament when I have a really strong hand that allows me to do it .I hope you get lucky on the tables.

Hope you trolling us because is a weird way for starting a new tournament haha.. I start very passively and play only the strong hands or hands with much ev post flop like suited connectors. After some reads and when the blinds start to be bigger I continue with a different approach like stealing more blinds and stuff.

freerolls are a crap shoot in the beginning. try to avoid it, unless you wake up with AA first hand, then expect a triple up at min.

Sounds like a sound strategy to start any tournament. At least you won't have to wait around to find out if your lucky that day.

I think it's generally best to fold the vast majority of your hands and play the percentages. At the start that means I'll only really play monsters (which I play aggressively).

Then my range opens a bit more when the blinds are worth stealing etc.

If the tournament has blinds going very quickly then my strategy would be to go all-in.

If blinds are slower I usually raise starting hands around 3xbb

In a tournament game, you should be more inclined to raise than in a regular game, because stealing blinds in a tournament is very important. On the other hand, if someone has already entered the pot with a raise, prepare to fold. You should avoid confrontation in tournaments (if you do not have a "monster"), and instead just win a small pot to gradually increase your stack.

lol all in firts hand only with a nice pair like AA KK QQ JJ or TT, but my real strategy is be tight aggresive and depend of type of tournament. I don´t want waste my time playing trash hand all in.
