Imagine for some reason you knew exactly where you were at in the first hand of a tourney.

Would you call all-in with 60% equity or wait for a better spot?

Are you referring to 60% favorite?

If yes, auto call without further thinking...

I got it in 500 or so BB deep in a $109 MTT w/ 67% equity before and lost, got told that it wasn't the right play by a couple of people...

Depends on how much i have invested in the pot. So if i have invested say 20 to 30 percent then i would fold because we can definitely find a better spot.

If we have anything more than say 45 percent invested then i will prefer to take the chance if i am sure that i am 60 % or better chance to win the pot then i will call. :slug:

that's actually a toughie... I probably would but if we were extremely deep I'd probably regret it if I lost - Not to be results oriented but it would be a heartbreaker and a soul crusher

for me it would depend on a couple things. buyin probably the biggest. if its a $11 mtt im in there no question. if its a $50+ im probably gonna wait. i feel i have an edge of alot of players and i dont wanna just toss that away

Not a chance. Call an all-in by a position before yours in a MTT? Wait wait WAIT for an actual opportunity to attack. I would like to think my poker skill level is more than 10% than that of a first hand all-inner anyways. There isn't a reason to risk the rest of the tournament on a 10% edge, beat him with time.

Its leak game call all in when stack big, only we can call AA, KK. 60% equity its not enough what risk on whole stack,, Better playing more tight and not risk , in start game because its not very profitable,,,

would be helpful to know the tourney format, the villians, do i have a skill edge, etc etc

in a hyper turbo you would always do it, in a reg format you should probably wait

That's a tough call.. How much is the buy in :) I would probably wait for a better spot, why take the risk when you can get better odds.
