How do these 2 levels compare as far as players skills? are there many more regs in the FTP $12's?

They used to be really quite soft, but a lot more regs are now playing the $12's, thanks to the "new" black card system.

So, the skill differance? Not to sure as i haven't played tilt for a while, but i'd think that the 12's are much harder than the 6's. The 6's on tilt are much softer than on stars, however.

Don't know about Stars but I can tell you first hand there is a HUGE skill jump from $6.50 to $12 at FTP. Lots of regs and safe to say if they are at 9+ tables they are 3%ROI at worst 95% of the time. I'm gonna see if I am still crushing the $6.50's for 1K games before I even think about moving up again.

Good logic guys. Don't go too far too early, it's a marathon, not a sprint. That goes for multitabling too, if you are doing 6 comfortably, that doesn't mean you should do 12 right away.

Jimmy- Those breakeven regs are actually really easy to play against, and you don't really mind those types in your games. It's getting pretty hard to table select away from tables with loads of regs. Those players usually have glaring leaks. The main one i see from those guys is playing too many tables and playing a very formulaic approach. Usuallly they are just grinding for the bonuses and such, so to have them on your table shouldn't bother you too much, as long as you are looking for their weaknesses and adjusting properly.

Apart from a few other differances which i don't really have the time to get into right now. The mid-stakes fish play a little differantly. In the lower limits, the fish actually tend to be usually people who are actively trying to improve their game, whereas the mid to higher limits, the fish tend to be guys with pockets full of money and splash it around the table simply becasue they don't care.

For those of you who think this game is dying, and the fish will dry up soon, I've been sharkscoping literally thousands of players and the results are making me think the games won't dry up for a long time yet.

I am killing the breakeven regs so far. They have lots of weaknesses. Many more at the sixes than the twelves for sure. Plenty of weekend fishies too. Check out my stats at the $6.50s in the Feb SNG thread and you will see I am crushing more than the fish. Playing very confidently at this level and will continue to add tables and make money for a while before I move up. New PC and monitor will be first investments then poker coach( prolly Bwammo, he is the shiz!).

I got plan for sure, and to break even for RB ain't it:)
