Sometimes if someone is pissing me off I stall just to piss them off. The more people complain the more I will do it especially if they do the zzzzzzzzzz thing which really annoys me.
I know it is wrong and a jerky thing to do but sometimes it is fun.

If it is hand for hand it makes NO DIFFERENCE! Most quality websites will make their mtts hand for hand on bubbles and money jumps. If your site not doing this your site is junky
if no hand for hand then whatever - its your right to take the time allowed everytime

I do agree with some of the players, its a bad thing, but it has helped me to get in the money so many times 
so i do understand why some players do it, but if u do it solely for the purpose of pissing some1 off, then i dont agree with it, but once again i do understand why people do it

I belive stalling actually is against rules on some sites, if I am not mistaken? I recently saw a video made by a grinder, and he said that he was gonna use a little of his timebank, but not alot, cus that was against the rules (pokerstars) .. am I misinformed, or is this the case?

I hadn't heard of any sites enforcing rukes over this. Maybe they should or alter those using too much clock to endure less and less time to act as they continue to stall.
I agree about when it is hand for hand but most sites dont start that until only a few places in front of the bubble. It does make me angry sometimes but if it is a players right to do so is it still wrong?

Not being on PS since they left USA I can not confirm nor deny if this is true...however I would bet big that it is NOT true, otherwise why have a time bank in the first place. Seems stupid that it would be a rule....what if you just had slow internet or a slow computer? No way it can be true.

It sounds to me that most have done it realizing that it isnt exactly acceptable. I must admit that I too fall into that category. I guess in the end poker is alot like most sports in that there is alot of strategy involved. If working the clock to protect ur lead is OK in basketball or football why should poker be any different.

I hate when players stall on the bubble. To me I think it's a useless tactic. Some of the shorter stacks that you are hoping to outlast are almost inevitably going to end up doubling up and leap frogging you on the leader board. Meanwhile the blinds are continuing to go up, diminishing the value of your stack, making it more likely that when you do sack up and play a hand that you will get called by a bigger stack, probably holding a weaker hand, that will end up sucking out on you. Short stack or big, on the bubble, in the middle of the tourney or at the final table, I always want to see as many hands as possible before the blinds increase to the point where I'm forced to have to play any hand I want to play for all of my chips.

I feel stupid taking so long if it should is to focus on doubling in the bubble that most players play very soft and you have to be aggressive but having few chips if you are someone who thinks only enter ITM and not winning retire from the mtt

Maybe they could decrease the wait time for a players turn. Perhaps replace that time with a longer reserved clock time. It seems that there is already alot more time then needed to act anyway to be honest.

I wish it were a perfect world where all players would do this, but until they do the only true counter to a stallers strategy is to use clock as well. It sucks. Makes the game much more bijngo oriented with all in shoves trying to steal what should have never become such oversized blinds with any two cards. I could go on and I agree with you 100%, but the reality of it is that until they card rooms do something about it we will be forced to keep dealing with it

I feel you are entitled to use the time you are allowed any way you wish. I stall on occasion for many different reasons including trying to regain composure after a really bad beat. The whole point in playing competitive poker is to get paid so if you need to stall a little I have no problem with it.

I use to stall when I would be low stacked and a few positions would be left before the bubble (also before hand to hand) just so someone could go all in with their good hands and have a bad beat or something. It doesn't help much because you should be focusing on getting a better hand so that you can shove and get a decent double up because in the end you should be moving up instead of waiting for others to come down.
Now what I do is fold right away if it is a bad hand and not stall anymore. If someone is stalling I don't mind either because they have the right to use the time however they want. So if it makes them feel they'll last longer in the tournie its upto them if they want to stall or play smart.
