Hello community CARDSCHAT
I'm playing a while ago SNG from 90 to 180 players, low investment and good profit

but more I play every day I can not return a consistent winner:confused:

I am an aspiring professional player, and I read books like HARRINGTON ON HOLD'EM and I consider myself a conservative player:deal:

have any advice, any advice for me, would be helpful:D

THANK YOU

the best advice I think -- is not to think that you know a lot of poker. Poker is the subject of change, poker community the so. How much knowledge you get -- does not matter. Only practice, only training may make you game better in exact moment. But no one can say -- it will be the so in the next one.

can't really help you without looking at hand histories, but if you are conservative it's likely that you are too conservative in the later game. but who knows lol.

Keep reading more and watch livestreams of other poker players. Also invest some money and get a well known poker coach who is good at SNGs and learn.

Keep track of your hand history and evaluate your hands and how you should've played the hand.

You really have to study all about sngs and strategy articles , about how to play winning poker found on this site and elsewhere . Have a BRM , be patient while you play , have notes on fishes when playing , be aggressive on positions and never feeling you're better than you really are so be carefull to what buyin sng youre playin at :) .

Read my posts on tournament strategy. it'll help you a lot. One thing which always helps in the tournament is knowing what your stack is worth. If you correctly evaluate your stack and relate it with the hand you are dealt, you'd be a winner in the long run.

People who play poker are like people who drive cars. everyone believes their skill is above average. All the lessons and playing in the world will only make you play more consistently, and make good decisions most of the time. The problem is that as a game of chance, all the skill in the world will not make your cards any better. In the sng,s to which you make reference, there are more bad players than good, and you have to remember that success comes to the professionals about 15% of the time. It is possible if you can make final tables or get that big win, but it will take lots of time and luck. If skill was the only criteria, all pros would be millionaires. All I can do is to re-emphasize that you learn to make good decisions, and then hope that the cards fall in your favor. GL with your progress.

In the early stages i think you should play very tight, especially from early position. You can afford to play a wider range of hands from MP and then your widest from late position. Feel free to see cheap flops with suited marginal hands from late position and the blinds as long as you have the right pot odds.

In the middle stages (60-120), you should still play tight from EP and MP, but you should start stealing the blinds from late position. Be prepared to shove on the button with a short stack, if you have to.

If you make it to the bubble, your #1 objective is to build as big of a stack as possible, to make it to first place. You should be playing aggressively, by stealing the blinds and forcing your opponents to make decisions.

In the final table, you should start playing very tightly again from EP and MP, while still being aggressive from LP. You can no longer afford to see cheap flops. As the final table gets short-handed, you should play aggressively from all positions.

Heads-up is when you should play most aggressive, forcing your opponent to make a decision. I recommend you study and practice your heads-up play.

Good luck

how many tables are you playing, maybe try down sizing the number of tables if its high to focus on just a few games

On sng's and tournaments YOU NEED TO STEAL.PERIOD.Unless you start stealing blinds and pots bluffing you are not going to win as often as needed. Its good to be conservative but you have to pick spots like blind to blind situation to steal the pots.If you always wait to peak up a hand forget it.I would advice you to watch daniel negreanu's videos on small ball poker. For me thats the best strategy and I've been using it even before I watched the video.and one thing more.If you are left with less than 10 big blinds you should atart considering pushing with a 56 off suit cause even if you double up you still got a long way.you dont want to wait for an aq and double up for 6 big blinds this will take you no where.you should also study implied odds because in the early stages of a sng blinds are very little compared to your big blinds so a 9 10 off suit can do miracles if you hit the flop hard.

and also that thing that -hello how are you" said.If you are in a blind to blind situation where the bb has less than 6 big blinds you are priced in to put him all in with any two cards. So just shove.you'll be surprised how many times you'll bust people.

One of the most important part of these tournaments is understanding your Push/Fold charts. That would be a good start to improve your play. You can also look RunItOnce videos, they're super beneficial and even have learning paths.

In any tournament you will have to be agressive in some part of the juourney, unless you want to die without air. The point is be agressive when? Sometimes everyone folds all the time, otherwise there are crazy calls. A good reading of the betting game momentum is very important to raise more cheaps.

The biggest problem in SNG is the late-game, most of the players, stop pushing and trying to steal/re-steall the blinds, so in the beginning you must choose better your hands, and in the end, try to explore the weak/tight players.

those are high variance games, you need to play lots to get to a "true roi"

just continue to work on your game and add tables when you can handle it
