Man, even though I know it's fishy bad before I do it, some days I have a little too much gamble in me for my own good.
Just late-reg'd a tournament, blinds 40/80 stack 1000. because there's a bunch of people registering as well, the table was only 2 players. So heads up i get
Me: in BB Ac6c
this guy shoves......
for some reason i think, this is a terrible call, but let's go for it?
and I call.
Villain has 66, (FML)
finds the case 6 on the flop to basically seal the deal.

I know it's dumb, I know I shouldn't do it. But somehow I have these HERO CALL days that screw everything up!!!!
Need to fix this leak-crap, if I'm going to be successful.

On the other hand, it feels really good to gamble after you've played a strict game for a while.
Usually I try to get the gamble satisfied in play money section, not today :(

I don't think that was the worst call in the in the world, he could have been shoving with anything to gamble on a quick late reg double up.

Key is to set out your gameplan to play tight/ GTO/ normal game beforehand and take a second to breathe and think before hitting the call button.

We've all done it several times though:

oh yeah I get you loud and clear...me too...you work hard for maybe 3 hours or so in a freeroll, all disciplined and well behaved etc etc, you win like $3 , go to a cash table with it and presto!!! within a few minutes you blew it on some crap double-up that didn't happen and you're looking for another freeroll. oh dear oh dear...

Our mood sometimes dictates how we play for sure.

I know, it just hurt. What i left out is that I got busted with KK 2 hands later after my rebuy. after that, I felt a little shovy, so I did not rebuy again.
However, had I not called that first one, I would've re-bought after the KK's.
I'm on a BRM budget, so 1 rebuy is my max for right now which probably shouldve factored in,it did not.haha
Oh well just venting

As long s you have a chance at a re buy then you an take these chances but may have to tighten up a bit in those spots.
