It happens both ways for me. Usually I am the one with the AA's lol.
I am always surprised when the ducks hold up against me. I had folded them and would have flopped quads, next hand I folded them again and trips. I said I am playing them next time, 3 hands later I played them and ended with 22, lol.

Oh snap!

I love winning hands like that! It seems like you need those to win big tournaments. Almost every tournament that I have placed high in for the cash has been a result of a couple of lucky hands that turn out well.

Keep it going! :)

Was it a preflop all in or on the flop?

So many people complain about bad beats when their aces cracked so its good to see the other receiving end of this. Remember this hand the next time you shove with aces and somebody gives you a bad beat with any speculative hand so you wont get tilted;)

My question exactly! Pre-flop or all in?

Yes, you're lucky, you got to 18% who have a top pair of AA that would lose! Unfortunately, such moments are forgotten quickly, but the losses are remembered for a long time.

Just remember this when your KK loses to 56o somewhere down the road.

When I get lucky like that, I try and use it as motivation and momentum to play to win that tournament.

Such situations are not uncommon, I often get into them!
