Hi,
I play the $7.00 sngs on poker stars.
A few weeks ago there was an artical on Turbo sng strategy by SNG PLANET.
I play normal and turbo sngs and was wondering if you could use the same strategy with normal sngs aswell as turbo
If not can anyone tell me the different stategy in normal and turbo sngs
Thanks
Telboy

The vast majority of SnG strategy is based around relative stack sizes, so it doesn't really change from turbo to normal games. As pointed out above, the difference is just that you see more hands during each level so stacks don't get short as quickly. The strategy for how you play a particular stack size remains essentially the same though.

For Turbo:
Honestly they are right, but i would say since blinds go up much faster, it is in your benefit to get a little more aggressive and pick up a few small or big pots before you get blinded out. Otherwise, a lot of times, if you play too tight and you let the blinds get too high, you are forced to play hands that you really otherwise wouldnt want to, and may get pushed into playing all-in with a terrible hand because of the right pot odds.

You will gradually play a little bit tighter in normal sng because the blinds are moving up so frequent. do you multi table or just one at a time? If so how many? that all matters as well towards strategy. Which do you profit more in also should be a factor
Hope that helps

OK, I'm intrigued - how does the number of tables you play affect your strategy?
