I am a mostly freeroll player, but when I get some money in this tournaments, i like to play SNG, I was wondering what would be the most beneficial type of SNG game for me, 9 players, 45, 90, 180 or 360. Usually I play really low buy in toping at $0.5 for entry

I like the .25 90 man when BR is small, longer blind levels allows you to watch the crazies get knocked off

0.10 360 players sng is the first I recommend , 0.25 90 players the second , the best I think , on stars with big blind levels like wildyetty said , 15 min is enough to see some big/good hands and get paid :) . g/l

Mix it up. You might find that you are good at or enjoy smaller number sng's or that you are good at a game you didn't expect to be good at. It never hurts to vary your game selection and widen your experience. Some players never do this and they end up not becoming as good as they could be because of it. Try as many different games as possible to see what you like best. Enjoy

Despite where you are comfortable playing. For each type of event its approach. For example tournament with 45 participants is very different from the tournament with 90 participants. And you need to play them differently. So the difference is time-dependent increase in the blinds, the amount of the buy-in.
My advice is to try different tournaments and find something that you are comfortable playing.

For those amounts I would think 45-90 players is where you wanna be...this way first place can me anywhere from 10-20 dollars and you can start doing some damage.

Most of the tourneys I play are for low stakes and only have 6 players. I rather enjoy playing them on betonline, but I would rather get myself into bigger games. (still building a bankroll for that)

The payout is usually not that big, I've won a couple of them and in 0.5 9 player yo win about $2 and in the 45 players .25 buy in yo win $3.23

I like to play with normal levels, not Turbo or Hyper, which are pure luck... 90 or 360 players tourneys are very nice with a lot of places paid. Also 9 players is nice to play on 2-3 tables in order to develop skills.

I think you should play 9 man SNG as if you can't win those how are you going to win even 45 man? + it is easier to cash as at low limits people fly out very fast. Try to build you bankroll slowly. if you have 1$ your goal is to get anther 1$, etc, don't hurry, be smart. GL

It depends a lot, but in geral more players requires , more BR money. I used to play 9p when I was starting at a new limit, and progressively increased the number of players in the SNG. Although, my favorite one, always was the 90p and 180p,more loose players, coolers, but it was that I had the biggest ROIs.

I like a 9 man SnG - less amount of time to cash - can play 4 tables at a time with better odds than a 45 man or 90 man game . You may get in 12 games in a 9 man and maybe only 4 playing larger fields. My time sometimes is limited so I try and get max value.

I personally love to play the $0.50 9 players SnG. The prizes are good and it is not hard to get at least 3rd place.

Of course, some times you will get a bad and lose, but if you play consistently you will find yourself profiting.

I agree, $0.50 9 players is among the best bet for S&G's, with just 9 players and a good one third probability of making ITM. Surely profitable & less draining compared with a MTT.

i think that the best way to raise the bankroll is in STT SNG, you can play multiple tables very easily, but you need to have some cash to start with the games, usually starts in $0.5, with is 9 player.

You should try all SNGs and see what you like. See what format you run good in and what format you are comfortable playing. Everyone is different so I cannot recommend any in particular.

I enjoy playing the CIS by 25 cents to 90 players, and 50 cents for 360 players. As to the first tournament, it is a good prize and the chance to win.
